Welcome to NZJobHub. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the NZJobHub website and its related services. By accessing, browsing, or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Use of the Platform

NZJobHub acts as an online venue connecting employers with potential candidates. We do not guarantee employment for any job seeker, nor do we guarantee that an employer will find suitable candidates.

  • Account Registration: You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Eligibility: You must be at least 16 years of age to use this platform. If you are creating an account on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. For Job Seekers

As a job seeker using NZJobHub, you agree that:

  • All information provided in your profile, resume, and applications is truthful and accurate.
  • You will only apply for positions for which you possess the legal right to work in New Zealand (or the specified job location).
  • You understand that employers, not NZJobHub, are solely responsible for the hiring process, interviews, and any employment offers.

3. For Employers and Job Posters

To maintain a high-quality platform and comply with advertising network policies, employers agree to the following when posting jobs:

  • Legitimate Opportunities: All job postings must represent genuine, available employment opportunities. Multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid schemes, and jobs requiring upfront payment from applicants are strictly prohibited.
  • Compliance with Law: Job postings must comply with all applicable New Zealand employment and anti-discrimination laws (e.g., Human Rights Act 1993).
  • Right to Remove: NZJobHub reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to remove any job posting or employer account that violates these Terms, receives user complaints, or is deemed inappropriate, without prior notice or refund.

4. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Scraping, data mining, or using automated systems (bots, spiders) to extract data from NZJobHub.
  • Uploading viruses, malware, or malicious code.
  • Posting abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, or sexually explicit content.
  • Attempting to interfere with the proper functioning of the website or bypassing any security measures.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, and code on NZJobHub are the intellectual property of NZJobHub and are protected by copyright laws. By uploading your content (resumes, company logos, job descriptions), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute that content across our platform to facilitate the recruitment process.

6. Limitation of Liability

NZJobHub is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the content provided by users. In no event shall NZJobHub be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the platform, including disputes between employers and job seekers.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
